Wakodahatchee Burger
Today I visited the Wakodahatchee wetlands - A water treatment project that uses reclaimed water to create a natural reserve of sorts.
In this small marshland environment you can find all sorts of wading an dabbling birds, turtles, rabbits, iguanas and, of course alligators (this is Florida, remember?).
Other than the fact that it was blistering hot, and as humid as your average sauna - it was quick a photo spot. Click on the image to see some more of the shots I took there.
Next was lunch at “Cheeseburgers Cheeseburgers” a restaurant that specializes in… you guessed it.. CHEESEBURGERS! They pride themselves on providing free unlimited toppings and challenge the strong bellied to a 20 ounce (550gr) hamburger.
I was obviously not impressed, and devoured the small course, cheese and bacon included, without any real difficulty.
The restaurant has a tradition of commemorating the 20 ounce survivors. So I actually got my picture taken with a stuffed-animal-hamburger, and posted on the billboard!
